Frank Raymond Emery was the third and final child born to Abigail (Williams) and Fred J Emery. Following their
divorce, Abigail moved to Chicago with Fred Owen and Alice Mabel, leaving Frank at an orphanage in Mitchellville, Iowa. Fred J Emery married May Morrell on May 13, 1899 and remained in Iowa the rest of his life. It is not known why Fred did not take in his youngest child following his divorce.
Frank eventually left the orphanage, married and started his own family. In 1940, Frank, wife Rose (Gugel) were living in Elmhurst, York township, Dupage county, Illinois with their children Robert and Dorothy as well as a lodger, Glen (???) Buckner.
Frank was employed as a shipping clerk for a wholesale paper company.
